INVESTIGACION
- Luisa León is a PhD student in Nelson`s Lab. She develop a project in membrane domines in vascular endothelium.
- Luisa completed her bachelor's degree with Dr. Mauricio Boric in the Physiological Department of the Faculty of
- Biological Science in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, working in regulation of pressure in blood vessels
- under shear stress.
- Actually, she works to understand the rol of membrane dominines in singnaling pathways of
- endothelial vascular cells in response to shear stress. Her studies have a great potential to understand arterial
- pressure regulation and the associated patologies, like hypertension.
